Pre requisites: Must be a certified school trainer for 1 year minimum prior to obtaining ABL-DT certification.
How does it work?

Some educators may prefer to space out their courses, and enroll in 1 course every few months. Others may take all courses consecutively, to speed up the process of becoming certified. With this in mind, the time to obtain certification varies.
Workshops benefit educators of all levels, preK-12 classroom teachers, wellness coordinators, PE teachers, OT/PT, administrators, curriculum developers, decision makers, daycares, wellness centers and youth facilities. We believe in a "Train the Trainer" Model in order to provide you the skills and strategies you need to create a culture of healthy, happy, engaged kids! This highly customized training accommodates ABL newbies to seasoned ABL experts.
What topics are covered?
Although highly customized, all trainings provide strategies focused on applying brain based research to the learning environment, how we can use movement activities to prepare the brain to learn and enhance student success through active learning strategies.
This includes how to incorporate more movement during the school day and how to teach academic concepts kinesthetically - You will leave with new teaching skills and strategies to provide innovative brain-based lessons and create an optimal learning environment for your students.
What does a typical training look like?
Our trainings may have changed to virtual, but our presentation style remains the same! Highly engaging, active, and filled with movement activities! We like to break the session into two parts (a morning and afternoon session) or (on two separate days). This gives learners time to absorb the information, and practice some take home assignments before we meet again. Total training time varies between 2-6 hours.
What is custom about this Training?
ABL Master Trainers cater presentation topics specific to the needs of your group. Content varies based on the student age group, the specific needs of the students, and the position and level of experience your staff currently has with Action Based Learning (movement) strategies.
Each ABL Master Presenter brings their own expertise to our innovative workshops, and will be chosen for you based on best fit for your group. Date, Time, and Length of training can be custom to fit your calendar.
